Things I bought a year or two ago for $1 at target are now $3. Sunglasses. Fun Post!!! I also love getting eye shadow there. I also buy the hand soap for our kitchen and bathroom sinks. Oh noooooooo! Great blog! They have crayons figured out. !The ROCKS. I buy greeting cards and seasonal decor items there, Comet cleanser (1$ for a BIG can), foil pans and the movie theater size boxes of candy. Can't say I'd ever buy tampons or meat products at the dollar store. Don't buy their staplers or regular scissors- they stop working fast. I did last year trying to save money. While I dont mind a few higher priced items at Dollar Tree, it was nice to be able to take my stepson and daughter there when they were very little to pick out presents for all their relatives and let them pick out anything they wanted. Decent replacements for kitchen items, that will last till you can save for the nicer ones! The fake flowers are great for brightening up a dorm if you cant afford fresh flowers regularly. Another thing to avoid are the CD/DVD books- the last one I bought fell apart as I was putting the CD's in! I had bought some other expensive cotton gloves to use for the same purpose and I couldn't keep them on at night because my hands got SO hot. The thin plastic cutting boards are just as good as any other similar products I've used. DARNIT I literally JUST bought those glue sticks at Hobby Lobby for significantly more expensive than a dollar! I have at least 10 bottles sitting in my bathroom cupboard. to 22 oz.
